Place UK is a family owned, soft fruit grower in Britain, with a proud heritage in natural food production dating back to 1954. Originally founded by John Place, the business is second generation through his son Tim Place under the family parent company Frontbench Ltd. Place UK has grown steadily, earning a reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability and today, is not only a major grower of soft fruit but also a trusted supplier of high quality Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) ingredients and finished frozen products.
The company has continually evolved to meet market demand. With the strategic acquisition of Phaseolus Ltd in 2013, Place UK expanded its portfolio to include pasta, beans and pulses, strengthening its position as a supplier of choice to retailers and food manufacturers. Today, with a turnover of c£36 million, the business continues to deliver exceptional value through its integrated farming, processing, and supply chain operations.
