Operations Director
As a senior member of the Executive Team and the Operations representative on the Board of Directors, this role plays a central part in shaping Place UK’s strategic direction.
You will lead the Safety and Performance agenda for all Operations while developing and delivering a long-term growth plan that supports both current and future commercial ambitions. Acting as an ambassador for Best Available Technology, you will ensure our people, processes and capabilities remain competitive, efficient and future-ready.
With full accountability for all operational areas, including IQF processing, frozen and fresh packing, Engineering, HSE, Maintenance, Capital Projects, Transport, Facilities, Utilities and Security, you will guide a large, diverse team to achieve operational excellence. This includes driving a strong safety culture, embedding values, elevating performance standards, and continually seeking improvements through data, innovation and new technology.
This role is critical to delivering exceptional product quality, customer service, cost efficiency and sustainable growth. By championing collaboration across departments, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and leading with clarity and purpose, you will help ensure that Place UK continues to grow responsibly and deliver outstanding results.
